Windows 10 clean install stuck on logo free

Before we start some context, my computer was manufactured inI don't have UEFI or secure boot on my system. Also my system originally shipped with Vista, I changed the hard drive some years ago and I reinstalled Vista, then upgraded to Windows 7, then to Windows 8, then to Windows 8.

With that said, I recently had a power outage during a Windows 10 update and my system became unbootable, I couldn't repair it or anything. I booted into 10 account pictures download Fedora 31 drive and used the Gnome Disk utility and formated the Windows drive. I plugged it in booted windows 10 clean install stuck on logo free the USB and it gets stuck at the Windows logo without the spinning dots.

Since then I've unplugged everything, and tried to boot with different configurations of hardware leaving my Linux Hard Drive unplugged so it couldn't be overwritten or anything.

Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. I've tried creating new media already. I've burned two more fresh DVDs and none of them boot far enough to get a Command Prompt up to do any of the more advanced steps.

But my Fedora 31 install DVD works just fine and reads the drive and is even ready to install. Gateway never released an official BIOS update for my motherboard. All the drivers were installed fresh from the manufacturers website. I have no idea if its expected to stop working as the upgrade assistant gives everything a green tick. If the disk fails replace it, if not proceed. Make sure all other drives and peripherals are unplugged. Try booting the media in another PC to confirm if it's good. Try a flash stick of 8gb or more. I tried that just a few moments ago, I used my father's computer the installer boots just fine dropbox download windows 64 bit his computer using my USB drive and the DVD I burned. This is what it does. It'll sit here for hours and do nothing, sorry windows 10 clean install stuck on logo free the bad photo quality. That means it's bypassed the media and is attempting to start Windows.

Try holding the Boot Menu key down while you power on the PC. See if you can unplug the hard drive на этой странице boot the media. If so this proves the HDD is blocking the media boot. Then return it to the target PC to reinstall. The media should auto-start or will boot now. Unfortunately there was nothing on the drive to boot from.

I had deleted all the partitions and used Gnome Disks drive erase option, it took two hours to zero out the drive. I had done that before I had even begun this just to rule that factor out. I found and used a Windows 10 DVD and installed clean.

But when i attempted an update to Windows itself would halt at the logo and go no further after a reboot. Is there a BIOS windows 10 clean install stuck on logo free Had you Updated all drivers to latest before attempting to upgrade from to ? Is this older hardware that might be expected to become unable to run Windows 10 in its later versions?

The fact it won't install the latest version but will an earlier version, and then fails to start after upgrading to the latest, is a strong clue that the hardware might be deprecated. Windows 10 is seeing regular hardware deprecation with each subsequent version - which would be equivalent to one or more new subsequent operating systems in the past. Windows 10 clean install stuck on logo free.Windows 10 installation stuck on Windows logo

I recently built my first pc, but I can't seem to install windows through any means. First, I tried using a usb, and I retried it with a продолжить чтение one, and using different windows pcs to create the drive, but nothing changed I used windows media creation tool.

All the usb flash drives had the same issue: upon booting the "UEFI" version from the boot menu, a black screen with a blue windows logo would appear, but it would get stuck on that. I tried windows 10 clean install stuck on logo free the motherboard, and the issue didn't change. I still have yet to test the other components in another pc, but I've tried various things with what I currently have and nothing seems to be working. I've even tried installing windows 7 first via cd rom so I could then update to windows 10, but when I load the win 7 cd, it gets stuck on the primary installation setup screen where it asks to select a stuc, and such.

I'm beginning to think it's the power supply at fault, since on both a usb and cd, it gets frozen at a certain point prior to installation, but I'm not sure. What could it be? Here are my current components:. This thread is locked. You can follow the question or vote as helpful, but ckean cannot reply to this thread.

Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thank you so much, Greg, this list is very comprehensive and I'll be sure to go through it carefully. Otherwise, the PCI-E based storages will be only нажмите сюда for the data drive usage. Hi, Greg, I've tried all the things that I could from this post, cleam I seem to be having the same issue. To clarify, since I'm building this pc from scratch, Страница don't have any OS currently on my computer, so I can't do all those other steps that apply to people with windows currently installed.

The only thing I haven't tried and could still try is recreating the thumb drive from that windows media creation tool but this time unchecking the default settings. Although looking over them when I created the thumb drive, they looked like the correct settings for my o, so I don't expect that to change anything. Some stuc, details about the issue are as follows. When it windows 10 clean install stuck on logo free stuck on the screen, my cpu runs a bit faster, and slows down suddenly after a minute or two.

The same effect happens on my usb stick with the built in led indicator light, as it blinks slowly for a minute, quickly flashes on and off for a second or two, and then the led turns off. On my keyboard, the leds turn off, and all of these things happen around the same time. The motherboard led is still on, meaning power is still being supplied, and my fans are still running, indicating something is happening.

My theory is that it loads some data from the usb onto ram, and it fails after a certain point, which causes the cpu speed and lights to turn off. This would lead me to believe there's an error in writing windows 10 clean install stuck on logo free my ssd which is, by the way, recognized in the BIOSbut that doesn't make sense to me since it gets stuck before even loading the installation setup. A lot of motherboards will shutdown quite rapidly if they detect the CPU fan is not connected or disabled I don't remember the details as to whether it is drivers or something else, wkndows you don't even get to меня video copilot optical flares free этом point to add drivers.

With the secure boot option, I can't turn it off; I can only switch it to "other os" or "windows UEFI", so I have нажмите для деталей switched the "other os", and I've seen multiple fref where people say to switch it to that.

I windows 10 clean install stuck on logo free checked and I have no keys, which should mean the secure boot thing is ok. I turned off fast boot, and only have my keyboard and critical components plugged in I only have the one storage drive, and there's no wifi adapter or lan cable plugged in.

I tried it both with CSM on and off with each ram stick individually, and I'm getting the same issue. The way things are going, it might be a good idea to copy a driver to windows 10 clean install stuck on logo free NVME drive regardless I don't know exactly where to place it though I put my driver on a Flash Drive, but he doesn't get far enough to add it Windows 10 clean install stuck on logo free where you want to search below Search Search the Community.

In reply to d-brie's post on January 26, Hi, Two quick things to check Is the CPU Fan plugged in and functioning? In reply to slance's post on January 26, Sorry, I accidentaly marked that as the solution, but I meant to replay and say that yes, my cpu fan is functioning, and I've tried various ram configurations, as well as each individually, and they seem to be working, but I am planning on testing the sticks in a friend's pc to see if they run properly there as well.

Hi, It seems to me I have read about the Samsung drive you are using having issues It also seems to me that the windows 10 clean install stuck on logo free was more prevelent when using AMD based machines.

You'd have to ask the motherboard maker what that's about. You should also unplug all other hard drives during install so they don't interfere. If not PCIe then I don't think that warning applies. Next try removing a stick of RAM to see if that helps, then another stick.

Next try disconnecting network in /16510.txt that's interfering. My ssd is an nvme m. This site in other languages x.
